William West Anderson (September 19, 1928 - June 9, 2017), known professionally as Adam West was an actor who portrayed Jerry, the news reporter in the second season episode Whine, Whine, Whine.
He was best known for his role as Batman/Bruce Wayne in the 1960s television series, it's film and two animated features: Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders and Batman vs. Two-Face as well as his many other film and television appearances.
Adam had married three times: Billie Lou Yeager (1950-1956), Ngahra Frisbie Dawson (1957-1962) and Marcelle Tagand Lear (1970 until his death).
He also has four children; daughter Jonelle S. Anderson and son Hunter Anderson from his second marriage, son Perrin West, daughter Nina West and two step daughters; Moya and Jill Lear from his third.

In the episode he guest starred in, Adam was also joined by Batman series co-star Frank Gorshin (The Riddler) who portrayed Sharpie Lawyer, though they had no screen time together.
