Denise Michelle Crosby (born November 24, 1957) is an actress and model who portrayed Gretchen Kelly in three episodes of the second season.
She is best known for playing Lieutenant Natasha "Tasha" Yar in Star Trek: the Next Generation and is the granddaughter of famous entertainer Bing Crosby.

- Denise was the second Star Trek: The Next Generation cast member to appear on the show and the second actor from the franchise to make a guest appearance. Teri Hatcher had previously made a guest appearance as B.G. Robinson. Robert Beltran who later portrayed Commander Chakotay in another Star Trek series called Star Trek: Voyager had previously appeared in Season 1 as Fuentes and Denise's co-star Jonathan Frakes (Commander William Riker) later appeared in Season 3 with his wife Genie Francis as Tim and Amber Lake.
